Scooter with Puppy

A free-wheeling First Friends Scooter that comes with a First Friends Girl and her Puppy. Children push the scooter along the floor, seat the girl on it and chase after it as it rolls. The girl and puppy can be taken off for play on their own, giving children a rider, a pet and a vehicle to build simple stories around. At home it plays in the living room; in a nursery or classroom it is made for group play.

How to play and learn

1Show your child how to turn on the vehicle and how to operate it. Encourage them to do it themselves and then to chase the toy.
2Turn on the vehicle and demonstrate how it moves.
3Show them how it moves by pushing the character's head (they may be too young to do it alone, but they'll love watching the bulldozer move).
18 MONTHS +
4Show your child how to turn on the vehicle and how to operate it. Encourage them to do it themselves and then to chase the toy.
5Talk to your child about the vehicle and the character driving it: what color is it? How many wheels does it have? Teach them new words like "wheels," "moving arm," etc.
6Compare the toy to pictures of real vehicles to help your child notice the similarities.
